GREEN STAR SEALER

ROCKSTAR GREEN STAR SEALER is a water based penetrating sealer that does not alter the appearance of the stone.

ROCKSTAR GREEN STAR SEALER uses the latest technology in water based penetrating sealers and is low in VOC content.

Formulated for use on a wide variety of natural stones such as Marble, Limestone and Terrazzo.

USES

GREEN STAR SEALER will protect against the ingress of oil and water borne staining substances. Excellent for use in food environments and where solvent based sealers cannot be used.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

1. Always apply first to an inconspicuous area or scrap piece of stone to ensure the suitability of this product for your floor finish.

2. Ensure the surface to be sealed is clean, dry and free of any oils and other surface contaminants.

3. Apply GREEN STAR SEALER undiluted using a lambswool applicator or low pressure hand sprayer.

4. Ensure that the surface is evenly coated without leaving wet pools of product on the surface. Apply 2 coats wet on wet i.e North South application followed immediately by the second coat in the East West direction.

5. The product will cure in 12 hours depending on atmospheric conditions.

COVERAGE

Coverage is dependent on the permeability of the surface and is in the range of 6-15m² per Litre / 50 -150ft² per Quart.

PRECAUTIONS

1. Do not allow pools of liquid GREEN STAR SEALER to dry on the surface as a resin will develop on the surface that is difficult to remove.
2. Follow good industrial hygiene practices when using this product. Avoid contact with skin and eyes by wearing suitable protective gloves and eyewear.

Greenstar Sealer is below the VOC Content limits of chosen category specified by Green Star Design, Green Building Council of Australia.

Clean all equipment in water.

STORAGE

Keep container tightly closed when not in use. Store in a cool, dry place out of reach of children.
